Workshop at Uni Liverpool

On 6 March I was honored to be holding a workshop at the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Liverpool.

I was asked to speak about my experience of translating a novel in particular and about my work as a translator in general.

The students had tried their hand at translating a short excerpt from the novel beforehand and we compared and discussed the various solutions.

At the end there was also some time for Q and A.

It was a very pleasant experience and I hope my enthusiasm for my work came across.
