Powwow in Chester

In celebration of the International Translation Day I held a meeting for translators in "The Old Harker's Arms" in Chester on the 2 October from 6pm. I organised the event through Proz.com, who encourage translators and interpreter's to meet up in their so called "powwows", which offer the chance to an informal get together with networking opportunities, exchange of experiences and discussion. In the end there were only three of us, which was less then I had hoped for, but meant that we could get to know each other a lot better, go deeper into discussions and share more experiences. All in all it was a very enjoyable evening. See also my writeup on:  http://www.proz.com/powwow_report/2128
