Powwow in Chester

In celebration of the International Translation Day I held a meeting for translators in "The Old Harker's Arms" in Chester on the 2 October from 6pm. I organised the event through, who encourage translators and interpreter's to meet up in their so called "powwows", which offer the chance to an informal get together with networking opportunities, exchange of experiences and discussion. In the end there were only three of us, which was less then I had hoped for, but meant that we could get to know each other a lot better, go deeper into discussions and share more experiences. Course for DipTrans

In my continued effort to both maintain and improve on my standard of translation I have enrolled in a course for the Institute of Linguists Diploma in Translation and I shall take the final exam in January 2009.


Diploma in Small Business Financial Management

As of today I am proud holder of the IAB (International Association of Bookkeepers) Diploma in Small Business Financial Management which certifies me to have successfully passed the following modules:
